Before you switch

- I recut the film three times. Do the earlier notes survive?
- Every cut you upload becomes a numbered version, and each version keeps its own comment thread at its own timecodes. A new upload never overwrites the round before it, and two versions can be opened side by side to compare them.
- Does the person leaving notes need a FlowShot account?
- Yes. Review pages are an internal team tool, so the editor or second shooter opens the cut from inside your workspace and takes one of the places on your plan. They do not pay for anything — the place comes out of your subscription.
- Will a season of weddings actually fit?
- Paid plans carry 100 GB on Solo, 200 GB on Studio, 500 GB on Pro and 1 TB on Max, and what you upload is the review cut rather than the camera originals. A single file can be up to 10 GB on Solo and 20 GB on Studio, Pro and Max, and playback is capped at 1080p; the Free plan holds 2 GB and archives review media after 30 days, keeping the project, the comments and the timecodes.
- My editor is a freelancer. Does that still work?
- Yes. You invite the editor into your workspace, assign them as Video Editor on the project, and they work under your subscription instead of buying their own. The same editor can be in several studios and sees all of that work in one list.
